Between September 23 and 29, 2024, Archimandrite Sergije (Puskar), Abbot of the Pokrov Monastery of the Holy Theotokos in Chicago and Dean of Students at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox School of Theology in Libertyville, IL, visited the Moscow Theological Academy (MTA). With the authorization of the Board of Trustees and the Faculty Council of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox School of Theology and the blessing of the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Archimandrite Sergije signed a cooperation agreement with Bishop Kirill of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov, rector of the MTA, on September 28, 2024. The agreement includes plans for joint activities, guest lectures, and other collaborative events of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Hieromonk Damian (Voronov), Secretary to the Rector, and Deacon Dmitry Serov, Director of the MTA Press and Assistant for International Cooperation.
